Before signing a contract with the president of the club Aurelio de Laurentiis and launched the next day.
Kim will replace Kalidou Koulibaly, the Senegal international centre-back, who recently moved to Chelsea. Napoli previously signed Norwegian defender Leo Ostigaard from Brighton. French Ligue 1 side Rennes are also available to pay Kim’s release clause. And are also attracting interest from Premier League side Everton. But the 25-year-old South Korean defender opted to move to Serie A with Napoli.
Mohammed – I have misgivings about Napoli having allowed KK to leave. And I don’t know enough about Kim to really have a position except to say that over the years. He have done well signing younger players and getting them to grow into their spots. KK is a good example; Mertens is another.
I am choosing to be optimistic about the upcoming season, but am still nervous about the defense and especially about Meret being the number one goaltender. Cheers.
